Knowledge Aware Key Terms

The Knowledge Aware approach is a fundamentally new approach to managing technical knowledge. In addition to what a knowledge base tool can do, it replaces the traditional, passive ‘reference shelf’ model with an integrated, active knowledge system. It also places knowledge in the flow-of-work where it influences technical decision-making and analysis directly.
